Summary
It’s hard to tell in the dark, but he thinks he can just about make out the way Erwin’s brows furrow.
“I’ll sleep on the couch,” he continues, “and I’ll make you breakfast. Take care of you.”
His large hand strokes through Levi’s hair; he forces down another whine.
“Look at you, hm? What do you say?”
His eyelids flutter, heavy, uncooperative. Erwin continues to pet through his hair, strong fingers pressing gently against his scalp.
Levi swallows.
“Okay.”
—
In which Levi does not realise that Erwin’s affections are anything but new.

Summary
“An awakened Ackerman is loyal to and only to their liege. The royal family has curated their DNA very carefully, structuring it in a way that makes it physically impossible for them to disobey orders once they find a master to serve. Imagine that lever of force and loyalty in the Survey Corps, sir.”
Shadis curls his lips and sits down as well, looking absorbed in his own thoughts. Erwin watches him, chest rising and falling slowly as he waits for the Commander to process the new information.
“They created something they couldn’t control,” Shadis reasons quietly. “They created monsters.”
“Assets,” Erwin corrects him. “If one knows how to use them.”
“And you think you are capable of using one?”
Erwin tilts his head to the side. “I think, given the right circumstances, I can. Wouldn’t you rather join the Survey Corps and finally get the Citizenship, rather than spend your entire life in the Underground?”
------
The Ackermans have been hunted down for decades and are known to be extinct. When rumour has it that there might be one left in the Underground, the Survey Corps intend to find him before the Military Police does.

Summary
Being dormmates with your ex–best friend? Terrible idea.
Watching said ex–best friend lose a bet and end up in a skirt? Hilarious.
Realizing you suddenly can’t stop thinking about him in that skirt? Disastrous.(Or: two idiots share a dorm, accidentally fall into a rivals-with-benefits situation, and realize the line between love and loathing is thinner than Sasuke’s patience.)
It's like a spell is broken, as if time finally moves forward again—and Naruto blinks, then blinks again. The heart inside his chest is racing, like he has run a damn marathon and not just goggled at Sasuke’s ass in lace while the other was bending down. Lace. Sasuke’s wearing lace under that skirt. O dear gods.

Summary
Mr Smith watches him intently, chest rising and falling heavily with exertion. Beads of sweat glisten on his face; his hair clings damply to his forehead while blue eyes wide open are darkened with an emotion that defies description.
A warm breath touches the shell of Levi’s ear. “I gave you a chance to say no.”
