   Summary

   Orphaned at age sixteen after a mysterious gang kills her father and siblings, Caterina Pozzi has to abandon her simple life and everything she knows and run — run as far as she can. Rechristening herself as Holly Monroe, she falls in with the van der Linde Gang, hoping to keep her secrets close and her enemies far away.

   As Holly learns to lie, cheat, and shoot her way through her new life, she finds her old ways slipping further and further away. But with old foes on her heels and new threats tearing the gang apart, she must make a choice between her loyalties to the gang, to those outside it, and to her own ideals.
