He looked truly caught off guard by Lyney’s statement as if Lyney was being odd for expressing his apologies. Lyney hesitates, fearing that perhaps the signals he thought Aether was giving him were wrong, that he was being a fool once again. Before Lyney can say anything else, Aether cuts him off. “Sorry, I just… I was going to apologize.”
