Summary
Apartment unit 402 has exactly four unspoken rules: No missing payment on grocery day, don't touch Katsuki's knives, ignore the Todoroki family drama on the news, and definitely do not fall in love with your roommates.
They break the last rule almost immediately.
Between late-night study sessions, shared anxiety, and an escalating series of domestic crises, four vastly different university students realize their messy, confusing dynamic is actually the best thing that's ever happened to them.
A story about accidentally building a polycule, weaponized competence, and the absolute art of figuring it out as you go.
After all, Confusion is a basic art form at this point.

“Why do you still say that?” he asks, the noise of the scene surrounding them fading into the background.
Katsuki side-eyes him. “Say what?”
“‘Don't let me surpass you’ or that you’re ‘catching up’. I don't understand, you surpassed me a long time ago. You’re nearing top fifteen and you’ve gotten so much better at controlling your quirk! You’ve improved so much, and I’m only getting started. It really should be me gunning to surpass you if anything,” he explains, running a tired hand through green curls.
His friend clenches his jaw, closes his eyes, and exhales as he tilts his head up to the sky. A few moments pass, and Izuku’s starting to get worried. But just as he goes to ask what’s wrong, Katsuki responds.
“You really don't get how special you are, do you?” He murmurs, words nearly swept away with a gust of wind.
