"Red Hood?" Robert asks.
Chase nods. "This one's a new guy, he might be trouble. Heard he's from Gotham. Turned himself in, nobody knows why. Said he wanted a shot and upper management's desperate for results, so they let him in."Series

Summary
Now, here's the thing: Peter hates portals. Rarely anything good ever comes out of portals. Mostly, bad things come out of portals. Aliens. Genocidal aliens. Villains from other dimensions. Higher beings about to rip the universe apart. Wizards erasing his entire existence from everyone he knows. You get the deal. Portals only appear when life-changing events are about to happen.
That's a pretty good metaphor. Peter gives himself a mental pat on the back.
Or: Hobie takes an accidental detour while trying to drop his DIY watch to Gwen's universe.

Summary
Arthur scowls and moves to put the paper away, but a headline catches his attention: TRAIN ROBBED BY O’DRISCOLL GANG, PINKERTONS ON THE HUNT, screams a front-page article.
*
In the Grizzlies, the gang doesn’t run into the O’Driscolls -- and they don’t rob Leviticus Cornwall.

Summary
“It was a nice wedding,” Charles says.
The little bird sitting on the top of Arthur’s grave tilts its head and peers at him, then flutters off in a burst of chirps. Charles draws in a lungful of smoke, holds it there for a long moment until it burns, and exhales. He sets the unfinished half of the cigarette at the base of the cross, the smoke spiralling skywards like a prayer, and runs a thumb over the fading knife cuts in the wood.

Summary
He could leave. No one would blame him; this gang, once so tightly knit, is a nervous horse just moments away from bolting and taking the carriage with it. Charles doesn’t know why he can’t just make himself go.
'You know exactly why', he thinks wryly, 'Of course you know.'
