With Xander, newly crowned King of Creatines by his school foe named Cordelia, finding himself suddenly in his seventeen-year-old body comforting a Willow who had yet to find her own powers in the world. They were in her bedroom and on her pillow was all of her fish from her tank laying as a warning by Angelus. Xander mumbling nothings into her ear beneath his chin as he comforted her as he also remembered the recent warning he had given to Buffy. That if anything happened to Willow because she had refused to take out Angelus, she would pay. And his mind’s eye’s saw the burning of humanity and the great cities on Earth in the future because she never took him out.

Tony had been joking with Ziva over his probie’s skincare at the scene of the frozen lake they had found the dead marine Sgt in but fell silent as they found three other dead men in the same pond. The Sgt was from the MIA case back in November before Ziva had joined them, so he marked the death as around then in his notebook and circled it. Calling into the gang team over at the FBI and local cops to get the low down on the marked men.

Okay, so maybe it was. Just a little bit. But in his defence, Buck is away for work all the time, and none of them technically asked.
