Summary
We all can self-sabotage sometimes. For Kaeya, sometimes is often and often is always. So instead of finding a reasonable solution, he slowly turns to self destruction, hoping to shut the two creatures which pester and inhabit his mind: Him an Himself. Khaenri'ah or Mondstat? They never seem to agree.
All the while, those around him are unable to break in to help given that his barriers are so high up and his inner feelings so deep hidden... or is there someone who can?
Or TLDR: Kaeya shuts himself into self-destructive tendencies and doesn't see how loved he is.
