Honestly I don't really understand how this works but I'll try. I'm not really a social media or online kind of person but I really need to ask someone's insight about this (who doesn't know me personally).
So me (M18) and my then Ex-Situationship (M18) met when we were 7. He came to stay with my family because some political reasons (that I don't think could be disclosed here), my dad is a very important person btw and so does his.
