No more motives, no more trials, no more darling host. You’ve shown yourselves to be complacent, so here you shall stay! Don’t worry! You will continue to be stocked with all the essentials, so you can continue to live here for the rest of your lives.”
Easy. Right.
When the games began, Tozu promised they would end if there were only two students left. The games are over but Damon certainly isn’t free.

When the mass murderer known as Kira started targetting criminals, it was only a matter of time until he found Beyond Birthday, the culprit behind the LABB Murders case. L, the world's greatest detective, made a choice: take B out of prison, delete all information that could show his name or his face in all the possible records, and relocate him somewhere safe.
Now, years after the Kira case has been closed and Light and L have reached an agreement of sorts, Light stumbles onto the fact L protected a serial killer for his own interest. It's not jealousy to try to find this man and kill him, it's just Kira working to cleanse the world of evil. At least, that's what he tells himself.

“But… but…” Akira looked down and saw he had lost his paper ring in the grass. He quickly picked it up and in a snap decision, held it out to Goro. “Look, I made a ring! Do you want to put it on?”
Goro looked at it with wide eyes for a moment, then he took the ring from him hesitantly.
“Now we can be married!” said Akira cheerfully. “The teachers said…-”
Goro let the ring fall back to the ground, his eyes glittering as he stared at Akira, almost demonstratively, challenging, before putting his foot on the ring and grinding it on the grass.
For as long as Akira remembers, he's been in love with Makoto's big brother. Sadly, that's all he's ever seen in him - his little sister's best friend. But as the years go by, he finds that Akira simply refuses to give up.

But before he could even walk towards it, he found Akechi’s gloved hand grasping his wrist, pressing so tightly it was almost painful.
“I’d like a word, if you don’t mind,” he said, trying to remain calm even though he was speaking through gritted teeth, as he held out his yen to the cashier with his free hand. “Outside."
Akira isn't very good at the whole playing dead thing. He's very good at the whole "killing Shido"-thing, however.
