Back in 2005, Zoe Rayne published a story where AR1 finds a unicorn, and it reacts differently to Sheppard than the rest of the team. It was originally called Mythical, but when she wrote her sequel, she called it They Shoot Unicorns, Don't They. I think this is my first SGA fic, written as a response to Mythical, having seen one episode (Condemned) and read some fanfic.

Summary
Between 2013 and 2023. Methos, the oldest of the Immortals in Highlander, lived as a corporate lawyer in Denver. Alexander Krycek, the double-dealing ratboy of the X-Files, lived there as an art dealer, running a gallery in Aurora, Colorado. For seven years they were lovers, but they each know nothing about the other's past. "Napping" is a slice of their life before all Hell breaks loose in "Wotan's Day".
