Summary
See, here’s the thing. Courting in the Dynasty is so rigid that there’s recommended reading on the topic. An entire set entitled The Kryn Books on Higher Etiquette and Manual of Courtship. Which is fine, really. The reading isn’t the issue. Verin doesn’t actually hate reading as much as people think he does.
The real problem is having to explain why he keeps hanging out in that all-too-specific section of the den Thelyss library, particularly because the object of his affections never seems to fucking leave.

So you know how cat litters can have multiple fathers? That, but with omegas. Biologically, it's supposed to help ensure a higher survival rate for the litter as a whole, as multiple fathers will have reason to stick around and protect the omega and their pups. Especially when the pups are little and the dads can't be 100% sure which are theirs if any so they protect the entire litter as a whole and provide for the mother.
Totally down for anything based off this scenario. Omega going through heat with multiple alpha partners. Pregnant omega being doted on by the pups potential sires or after the birth. Whatever!

Dick has known for a long time what he is to Bruce. He was never going to be Jason, the first Robin. Was never going to be Bruce's son the way Jason was. The best he could manage was being a not bad Robin, but even that was rarely enough.
Maybe he shouldn't have picked a fight with an unknown threat in order to prove himself, but it wasn't like Bruce was paying attention anyway.

Fights, sex, less coin than he's used to, but his needs are taken care of. Every once in awhile, there's a truly pleasant job that comes along, too. Summary
Negotiating contracts is something Slade's more than practiced at. A lot of useless talk at long, boring gatherings, filled with nobles as miserly as they are vain. Necessary, but not interesting. The most interesting part of the night is afterwards, when he can retire to a room and enjoy whatever gift they've left him, as tradition dictates. It's especially interesting when the 'gift' is supposed to be an insult; tall, male, and only just barely obedient. His favorite type.

Publicly, Slade Wilson is a hunter. A good one. But privately, he has a habit of collecting the creatures that he hunts instead of killing them. Just one of every kind, contained in his home by iron or magic or whatever else is needed. Dick is one of those creatures, a vampire taken just after he was turned who's never known anything but Slade's care. Jason is another, fresh from the sea and not at all happy with his new captivity, or the new company.

Jason is very firmly ensconced in his own territory; a small sea with too many humans for anyone else to want to be in it. He likes the humans though, or at least he likes the things they leave behind, and as long as he leaves them alone, they leave him alone. Then another mer shows up, in his territory and hunting his humans. There's no other option but to drive him out.
