Summary
"I just don't see why I can't brag," Kaveh said suddenly when they entered the house.
He had a way of speaking that suggested he was mid conversation. Only the conversation happened in his head. By the time Kaveh dragged Alhaitham in to participate, Kaveh had gotten himself all worked up arguing against an imaginary opponent.
"I didn't say you couldn't," Alhaitham replied, resigned to stepping on a landmine.
"You didn't say I couldn't," Kaveh said. "But you're not acting all that happy about it, either. Pretend you don't care, fine! But look at you. You're pouting."
"I'm pouting?" Alhaitham said. "I could put a hanger on your lower lip."
"Because you don't like it when I tell others about our relationship!"
"I just don't see what there is to tell."
Kaveh and Alhaitham are now dating. Kaveh wants all of Teyvat to know. Alhaitham... is less than enthusiastic.

"So if you charge it with enough Dendro, it'll run on its own?" Haitham had surmised the night before.
His face, of course, was completely neutral as he studied the machine — but he was interested. Kaveh could tell from the glint in his eye.
"Yes. I'll be working on my drafts, you'll be tied down, and neither of us will have to lift a finger to make it work." Kaveh ran his finger along the cool metal, tiny blooms of Dendro trailing behind, and the machine stuttered to life.
Kaveh often has work to do. Al-Haitham often wants to be indulged. So Kaveh puts his years of Kshahrewar studies to use.
