When Sandrone reaches for a stranger in a bar to numb the ache, she finds a mouth that tastes like whiskey and haunting familiarity. Columbina does the same, seeking a body to dissolve the ghost of the girl she left behind.
They don't realize they are clinging to the very person they are trying to forget.
They thought they were pretending. They didn't know they were just finding their way home.

She couldn’t help herself.
Her work was all done for the day- nobody was home. No chores or errands needed to be done. Food was in the fridge and her room was clean, as if she was waiting for a guest to come over. But there was no one. And there was absolutely nothing to do.
It was the perfect time to reward herself.
The seclusion of being in her house alone had been enough to make her act. Her heart buzzed alive like a motor engine- her next steps on complete autopilot. She hops out of her bed and helps set the scene- she would never settle for anything less than perfection.

Columbina is an ASMR artist, one that Sandrone listens to...a lot. Coincidentally, she has no idea that this random girl on the Internet with the voice of an angel is her classmate. A comment on one of her videos turns out to be a grave mistake, ending in a confrontation with no way out.

Sandrone scrunches her eyes shut in anticipation of colliding with the hard tiling below her, but rather than cold metal hitting her back, it's soft fabric and warm skin. And a familiar scent that somehow feels like moonlight, despite being far indoors.

"Sandrone?" Columbina's airy voice snaps Sandrone out of her thoughts. "Are you quite alright? That would have been quite a nasty fall, had I not caught you."
(or, Sandrone forgets to do a minor maintenance task. Columbina uses the opportunity to tease her (and take care of her))
