Summary
This is continuation of my 'Cat Named Mojave' fanfic series. This is a new series/sequel called 'Body Named Rowan' which takes place right after Rowan decided to leave Mojave in the end in an attempt to return back to a domestic life after enduring the traumas they’ve lived through in the desert.
Rowan now lives in Pinetop Arizona, full of tall forest trees, neat weather, but the past comes back repeatedly to haunt Rowan, meeting similar faces to the ones they've met back in the desert. And Rowan is no longer the innocent and morally stable driver we once knew. After being successfully conditioned by Mojave, Rowan is still in 'hunt' mode and struggles to find healthy outlets for their morbid desires.
Rowan attempts to live a quiet life, secluded in the forest, but now suffers from PTSD when they witness multiple experiences that remind them of their past, treating Mojave’s name like a sacred whisper and referring to him as just "Him."
These PTSD episodes pile up until Rowan snaps and remembers exactly where they belong.

Summary
I doubt this fic will reach a lot of people, considering the game JUST released on the 8th of December, but I was too inspired by it to NOT write about it. I think it was a devastatingly beautiful work of art. Well.. when you look behind all the blood and gore, (which is basically 90% of the game) its actually really fascinating.
This fanfic doesn't stray from the games lore or story. I'm basically rewriting the ENTIRE game as it is, just with more in depth interactions and dialog. Everything that happens within the game, you will see again here written in explicit detail and extra scenes. I'm just tweaking and extending the story more as we go, making it more horrific and disturbing. If that's event possible.. For example, Mojave looks mostly the same, except hes wearing ONLY cargo pants, bandaged hands, and actually has hind legs like a cat. And YOU, the reader, who I decided to give a gender neutral name (Rowan) which is apparently gender neutral.. are the main character in this story.
I really hope I captured Mojaves character well. All credit to the makers of the game, "Cat Named Mojave," goes to StarGazers Studios!
