“Hyunjin is dead,” Jeongin breathed. He looked up to see the others stare back at him with wide eyes, Hyunjin towering over them at the back, the light from the window in the hallway lighting up his figure. “They told me he was dead.”
Hyunjin's dark eyes found Jeongin’s tearful ones.
“Not dead,” Hyunjin said with a poisonous smile. “Just gay.”
Or: Jeongin has spent years mourning the loss of his first love, a love he was told by his church was sinful and wrong, but one he just couldn't stop from blooming in his chest. Now, years later, Jeongin meets Hyunjin again, very alive and also very different from how he used to be back in their shared church.

He’s distracted now, sat on the couch staring at Felix. Felix had told him he wanted to tell him something important, that’s why he called Chris over in the first place. But Felix had started rambling, and Chris has never been good at paying close attention, but he can at least pretend to be by staring at how pretty Felix is.
He thinks Felix is so beautiful. His freckles are like a galaxy smattered across his cheeks, and Chris thinks he sees stars in Felix’s eyes when he says, “I want to have a baby.”

“Okay, how about this? The one who gets the lowest grade or fails will get a really ugly tattoo.”
They all burst out laughing—the idea felt both terrifying and ridiculously fun at the same time. Hyunjin grabbed his phone immediately and started scrolling through Pinterest, shoving the screen in their faces. “Look at this one, boys. ‘I am yours’ right on the lower back. Cringe.”
Felix snorted. “That’s kinda soft, though. I could totally pull that off.”
The three of them cracked up again, dying at the mental image of one of them stuck with that tattoo for life. But Hyunjin wasn’t done. “Hold on, hold on—I found something even worse!” He tilted the phone toward them again: the word “babydoll” in delicate cursive, placed exactly where a classic tramp stamp would go.
Jisung shuddered dramatically, clutching his chest. “Guys, maybe we should just… you know, actually study instead.”
Felix snatched his calculator, flipped open his textbook, and flashed a cocky grin. “Yeah… I’m really not feeling the vibe of walking around with ‘babydoll’ on my ass forever.”
Three days later, the grades came out, and Felix was the only one staring at a big fat fail.

Summary
Chan cards his fingers through strands of silk-soft hair, before the ball of fluff suddenly shifts and he’s face-to-face with an awake Felix. All Chan can think is Oh, no as the smile on Felix’s face slowly stretches to reveal each tooth.
“Good morning, daddy,” Felix drawls, dragging the last word out with relish, voice rougher and deeper than the trench Chan would like to throw himself down, thank you very much.
In which Felix is a menace to society and to Chan in particular, and Chan learns a few new things about himself.
