Summary
Steve Rogers woke up in the 21st century, fought some aliens, and saved New York. Now, with the Avengers Initiative officially a go, he finds himself living in Howard's kid's tower with the rest of earth's mightiest heroes. Tony's fast-talking, Clint's pranks, and Thor's appearances from Asgard would be a hard enough adjustment, if Steve wasn't already dealing with the loss of everything and everyone he loved. Convinced he will lose his role as Captain America (the one thing left) if he acknowledges the nightmares and panic attacks, Steve attempts to hide the symptoms of his PTSD. Only some things can't stay hidden forever.

"So you finally found me," Rover comments, the smirk can be heard in his voice. The scent of spring rolls off of him in waves, Qiuyuan's hands itch. "It took you long enough."
"Rover," he replies easily, readying his blade. "It wasn't like you were being particularly subtle about it either. Nor did I take you as someone who liked playing with their prey."
A beat.
"Maybe I was bored," Rover lies. What he admits next isn't a lie though: "and I needed to keep busy after the rebuilding in Rinascita."
