Summary
Joyce shakes her head and glares at Buffy. “No, I am NOT letting you out of this house!”
“You can’t stop me.” Buffy responds quietly but matter of factly.
At that, Joyce’s hands shoot forward and grab her daughter’s arms
“Oh yes I…”
But Buffy yanks herself out of her mother’s grasp, and with a shove out of the way, pushes her mother against the island, canisters and utensils scattering as Joyce stumbles to grab hold. Buffy has the door open and was about to step through when Joyce spoke again.“You walk out of this house, don’t even THINK about coming back.” Her voice angry and low as she dares her daughter to leave.
Buffy’s breath caught in her throat for a second before joining her heart in sinking in her chest. She looks at her mother, her pain visible in her eyes as she stares at her mother in shock. But it quickly passes as Buffy firms her resolve and with one last look, she turns and walks off into the night.

Buffy - or Anne as she now calls herself, has moved to LA and put Sunnydale and all it's pain behind her.
Only thing is, you can't outrun Destiny. No matter how hard you try.
