Viktor blinked, eyes fixed on the wall of the lab. He knew, without having to check, that Jayce was completely focused on his task – brow furrowed, hands busy, not a thought in his head except for the intricate adjustments of the brace in front of him.
Or, Viktor finds himself hopelessly attracted to Jayce despite his own misgivings.

Summary
Jayce had been single for the last five years since his last partner moved away. She had trouble dealing with Viktor, said something about his boy ‘being jealous’, and that there ‘wasn’t enough of Jayce to go around’. That was also ridiculous, because Viktor had been ill from birth and required more attention to meet his doctors appointments and treatment plans. The commitment that Jayce had made to adopt Viktor when he was eight wasn’t going to change just because of what his ex had wanted.
His family of two had been through hell and back. Jayce didn’t think there was anything that could tear them apart, and there was nothing that he would change about Viktor.
And yet, the closer Viktor got to his presentation, the more agitated they both were. Jayce’s hind brain screamed that this was entirely wrong.

Summary
Viktor had to work extremely hard and pull a lot of strings to get where he is. The ladder from the deepest parts of Zaun to a good job at Piltover’s premier engineering tech company was not easy to climb, but he’d done it. His hard work is paying off and he's built a good life for himself in Piltover over the past several years.
With work going well and the holidays approaching, Viktor is happy at work but unhappy at home. He is looking for something different, something special, some that Christmas magic he's heard so much about.
When the magic can't be found close to home, perhaps spending a little time with his charming best friend and work director, Jayce, will show him what the holiday season is really all about.

"So mature. So intelligent. As if that explains why you want to get into my pants. You're a dirty, dirty man, Jayce Talis. And you know it."Jayce chatted with Viktor online before agreeing to meet up with him. Jayce figured he was lying about a lot of things: his age, his home life, his family and friends.
He had no idea what was going to happen.Maybe he deserved it– maybe he had it coming, for inviting a fifteen-year-old to his house alone.
