A gentle chuckle escaping Xie Lian’s lips caught Hua Cheng off guard, causing him to fall silent and close his mouth. In an instant, he was pouting again, and the seriousness in his voice was gone. “Gege, I’m serious,” he mumbled and kissed Xie Lian’s cheek, still tenderly rubbing his stomach.
“So am I,” Xie Lian looked at him, amused. “San Lang, I’m just two months pregnant. I can do everything I used to do just fine.”
“I’m not saying you can’t. But is going to Heaven really necessary?” Hua Cheng kept trying. “You will be surrounded by a bunch of idiots. They might upset you, and what if it affects the baby?”

Summary
Months after being drugged and kidnapped, Reki lives his young adult life on an olden ship, slaving away as part of a crew he despises. He's not a very good pirate. With a fear of drowning and a strange thought process, he's only given minimal tasks, like sewing, and carpentry, and occasionally fishing. His life out on the ocean is plain, and unenjoyable.
That is until one of the crew's fishing nets catches something big, with shiny blue scales and fair skin all at the same time. A mermaid. Or, merman, in this case. Regardless, this creature's very existence is enough to make Reki think he's officially lost it.
The crew keeps the creature in a small, wooden tank among the ship, telling Reki specifically not to interact with it. The Captain's plan for the creature? Use its scales for money and the creature itself for his own gain. A cruel plan no matter how you look at it.
Despite the various warnings Reki received, he doesn't listen, trying different ways to gain the creature’s trust, trying to get it to talk to him... if it can even talk, let alone in a language he can understand.
Maybe an unlikely friendship will occur? Or maybe even something more?

Summary
After Reki and Langa fought because Langa broke his promise, they never made up and never spoke again. Langa quit skating, barely survived high school, and tried to push down his gross feelings for his ex-best friend that tormented him every single day. All that mattered was that he made it into college. This was his fresh start. He would stop thinking about Reki, and finally move on with his life. Easy, right? … Until he walked into his college dorm… and saw his new roommate. Turns out, the universe has jokes, and Langa is the punchline.
Au where Langa and Reki never make up after their fight in episode seven and unexpectedly meet again when they’re assigned to the same dorm in college
