It’s been a long few days, and Lilli is, frankly, done with it. From being kidnapped and nearly getting her brain stolen at camp, to saving her dad after he was kidnapped by a mad scientist, and then her dad’s body being piloted by a lost prince trying to destroy the Psychonauts.
Rest assured, she was more than ready to return to her mundane life as a psicadet who never got sent on missions because her father was too worried about her getting hurt. Oh no, she was done complaining about nothing happening around here, too much has happened.
She’s going to sit around, hang out with her boyfriend, and garden. Hell, she might even rest.
Well, she WAS going to do that. But she was stupid enough to wish more things would happen around these parts, and now she got what she wished for.

It's a pity that Ruby didn't catch that Dust thief and impress Professor Goodwitch. It would have been nice to skip two years and go straight to Beacon. Instead, she just has to do what she planned and keep on studying to be a Huntress at Signal. At least there's all sorts of interesting people and things there to keep her occupied.

Living in the Ever After certainly beats dying in Remnant. Especially when Team RWBY ends up with Jaune, who has done very well for himself indeed. And the girls end up doing well for themselves, each other and Jaune as well as they get used to the changes that happen.
