There was no way Kakashi was going to leave him like this. He couldn’t, not when every cell in his body screamed at him that leaving Sasuke alone now would be one of the worst things he could ever do.
The hawk screeched again.
Who, then? In whose hands could he leave Sasuke? Gai? No, he was too preoccupied with Lee. Tenzo was off the table. The other jounin senseis?
His answer came strolling along around the corner, about to pass under the tree they were in.
Iruka Umino's face scrunched in confusion as he neared the tree, eyes following up the trunk.
