Well. It won't stop him from trying his best, not when there's a wager at stake. A year ago, before taking their relationship long-distance, he and Phainon made a bet to try to be more romantic than the other. He's spent a year preparing gifts for when they next meet up, when the contents of their gifts will decide who's the winner. It's now nearly time for their reunion.

Phainon's brain blanks entirely. It wasn’t even the line itself—which was standard script stuff, just a mere three words strung together—but it was just the way he said it. Slow, syrupy amusement with a mercilessly sinful undertone. Fuck.

No one was as qualified to call themselves a Mydeimos Super Fan as Okhema Security Pvt. Ltd.'s most diligent cog in the system; Phainon.
A lucky opportunity had him brushing shoulders with an old bandmate from Mydei's early career days, and perhaps, if he was even luckier, the man of the hour himself. And so, Phainon hatched a semi-professional plan of working his way into his Idol's good graces.
What Phainon's plan, namely, did *not* involve was punching said Idol's million-dollar face to save his boss from a PR disaster. Nor did he expect it to work.

His expression doesn’t change. “It’s Anaxagoras—but yes, it’s good to see you too, Castorice.” He glances at the bag in her hands. “Are you leaving?”
She follows his gaze. “Ah, yes. My shift’s over, so I’m just going to stop by the store, then head home…” Castorice looks back at the professor, who frowns at her. “Is everything fine, Professor?”
“You’re avoiding the poetry club.” It’s a statement, not a question. Anaxa never asks those when he deems them unnecessary.
/Or: A few years after graduation, Castorice rediscovers where she and her words belong.

Summary
Mydei kicked her sandals off by the door and shifted the supplies in her hands.
“My apartment’s water isn’t working. I’m gonna use your bathroom to get this done,” she said, already moving towards the bathroom like it was settled.
“Ah. Of course,” Phainon said, a little too quickly.
She never had any issue with Mydei being over. If anything, she liked how natural it felt, how Mydei kept ending up in her space more and more lately. Sometimes Phainon caught herself thinking it would make sense if she just gave Mydei a key. Usually she told herself to stop being embarrassing right after.
She hovered for a second, then tilted her head.
“Since you’re here though, I feel like the least you could do in exchange is let me help you dye it.”
Or: Phainon dyes Mydei’s hair, and then her bush. It leads to them doing other things (each other).
