Summary
Muriel's fiance is obsessed with their grandfather's 1929 Bentley, to the point where he'd love for it to be in their wedding despite being told no. After getting caught in the garage oogling the Bentley by Grandpa Fell, Muriel and Erik find out it's actually Muriel's great-great-great-great grandfather's, and Grandpa Fell gives Muriel his old journal so they can learn a little bit more about their past.
It's 1941 and World War II is raging. Aziraphale and Crowley and their small found family struggle to survive food shortages, the Blitz and attempts at recruitment as Europe battles against the forces of the Axis of Evil. When Crowley signs up to go to the front, Aziraphale barely is able to hold it together to keep up appearances.
And then Crowley's letters are all returned to sender....

"...Equally magical was what Crowley had just done. It highlighted the amazing growth Aziraphale had been fortunate to witness in his love over the past year. Crowley’s well-earned rough edges were softening in some spots now that he was safe enough to be who he wanted to be. This wasn't a new Crowley. This was the part of him that the demon had kept closely guarded since his fall, hidden behind his protective wall of rage. There was still a good amount of grit to Crowley and Aziraphale was pleased at that. He never wished to change the demon. They’d both fought valiantly to bring this life to fruition and they were happy to indulge in their freedoms..."

"Aziraphale couldn’t have been happier to have finally put his apprehensions behind him, abandoning his station in Heaven once and for all, and joining Crowley in a mutual decision to abandon their mortal possessions and move into a cozy cottage in the South Downs. For the first time in over six thousand years, he was truly happy.
That was, until he wasn’t.
You see, Aziraphale had a problem. There was just one minor flaw, a single thing that wasn’t picture-perfect in his new, picture-perfect life.
To put it plainly: Aziraphale was horny. Extremely so. The problem was: he was ninety-nine percent sure Crowley wasn’t interested in that kind of relationship. And Lord knew he’d tried."
Or: the one where Aziraphale turns to porn to cope with his husband's tight-fitting trousers, and gets more than he bargained for when an unsuspecting washing machine jump-starts his sexual awakening.
