The name is something ridiculous and vaguely French sounding, and the window displays are dark and artistic, flashing the kind of wares that Frank would normally have no reason to be looking at, except that he can’t stop looking.
He’s seen the way that Gerard looks at shops like these. They spend a lot of time in malls on the road, and he’s seen it enough to get an idea of the kinds of things Gerard likes. That, along with how the other man reacts when Frank calls him things like pretty, gorgeous, my girl.
This is also the kind of thing that’ll get Frank slapped if he’s wrong about it. But the dress in the shop window has him willing to take that risk.

There was something about the way Gerard looked, moved, and sang tonight that caught Frank off guard – and he couldn’t figure out why. Maybe it was the alcohol, weed, and adrenaline, but those were always present at the other shows they played, so he couldn’t exactly blame it on that. Also, Gerard’s jacket was far too small on them and for some reason, Frank couldn’t stop staring.
