Summary
Just what do you do when you have an unstable demon lord on staff? This takes place right after Kitty almost kills Scott when Illyana brings Kitty to the new Xavier school and leaves Scott and Kitty alone as shown in Uncanny X-Men 18.
Can't help but think Scott would have been very pissed about that.
Kept enhancing the story with many a (What to do about Magik plots)

Summary
Been thinking more about Illyana's dimensional journey in search of her soul. Somehow I got to thinking about the upcoming film Pride and Prejudice and Zombies (marginal book at best, the film is much better but needed more fight scenes). Then somehow I pictured Illyana being present and viola, the present story was born. In part a bit of a humor piece.
This story starts after Illyana is placed on Scott's extinction team and they have their first deployment, which was against Mr. Sinister. This first chapter just sets up the story.
Will Anita Blake be in this? Well... zombies are involved so we'll have to see, my guess is yes but only towards the end.

Summary
Jean Grey is an astrophysicist working for a private institute run by wealthy geneticist Charles Xavier and his longtime partner Mr Lehnsherr. After becoming obsessed with a series of signals picked up by the institute's radio telescope, she convinces Xavier to let her investigate.
Jean thought that humans understood the nature of space, but her findings lead her to believe that she's not only just scratched the surface of her understanding of the stars, but of her own mind.
