ON HIATUS UNTIL 4/01/2026
Dennis is assaulted by a patient.
3 days, a grade 3 concussion, 2 broken ribs, broken nose, and brain surgery later Dennis is allowed to go home with round the clock care, the only problem is at Santos’ apartment there’s nobody to watch him.
Obviously Robby and Jack step in. Their alternate schedules mean Robby can watch him at night and Jack can watch him during the day.
The question is if Dennis can handle the two older, MARRIED, men, and if he’ll get better after the severe beating he took.All this with a side of religious trauma and being afraid to disappoint god with his indiscretions, how will Dennis manage?

Summary
The older man laughed at his predicament. Then he did something terrible. He rolled up his sleeves for him. Dennis was damn near breathless when he got to the left hand. Jesus Christ, this will be a long day if Robby is already hovering and touching like this. He gets in moods where he likes to control what everyone does. Dennis is the one who bends to it the easiest, though, so he often bears the brunt. He didn’t even mind, which was probably the worst part.
When they walked out for the morning huddle, Trinity took one look at him and cackled. “My coat not good enough for ya? Or did you just wanna smell like daddy?” At least she had the decency to whisper it.
“Shut up. I should’ve never told you that.”'
Or in which Dennis has a rare condition that prevents him from feeling the physical sensation of pain. Jack and Robby have to find novel ways to punish him into taking better care of himself.

He needed to do something to catch Jason's attention. He hated it when any of the Bats got like this. He had an idea, but he knew it was risky.
"O?"
"Stephanie and Duke are almost there. Five minutes."
Five minutes. He could do that. He took a deep breath, held it, and as he released it, he released his control of his anger.
"God, you're just like your father." Tim spits at Jason's back. The Alpha freezes, then looks over his shoulder at the younger man, his hand tightening on his pistol.
"What the fuck did you just say to me?" He growls, meeting his Replacement's glare with one of his own.
"Tim, what the fuck are you doing?!" Barbara gasps in his ear.
Buying them time, he thinks.
