Ivo feels oddly cornered; trapped like prey. Swallowing, he tries to focus on anything other than the way Stone’s thumb has begun rubbing slow, rhythmic circles into his skin. “Agent—”
“You’re so tense,” Stone murmurs, breath ghosting over the shell of Ivo’s ear. “Relax. It’s just me.”
