Summary
Despite his general behavior suggesting otherwise, Jiji was quite perceptive. He could see the way Momo and Okarun looked at each other when they thought the other wasn’t watching — and he was unfortunately perceptive about his own feelings, too. He needed to get over his clearly unrequited feelings for Momo Ayase, and helping Okarun gain the confidence to ask her out was the perfect way to do so. Maybe he’d even get closer to Okarun in the process!

“Yes. Yours. There are monsters all over Hyrule now, Your Highness.” Blue eyes pointedly looked her up and down. “And by the looks of it, you’re not equipped to handle that.”
She mirrored his scrutiny and scoffed. “What, and you are?” She gestured to the cairns beyond the trees. “Are you going to protect me as well as you protected them?”Calamity is here.
The Goddess Hylia appointed but two children to prevent the end of the world. The powers they were promised don't come easily, and after years of failure, Princess Zelda can't help but wonder if Hylia chose wrong. It certainly doesn't help that the boy fate has tangled her with makes her seethe.[This story is set in a fusion of BotW/TotK, with a couple tweaks and some familiar faces'n'places from older games joining along the way!]
