Kaelix found the admission quite cute. However, a little devil on his shoulder also wondered what would happen if he prodded further—considering he’s never confronted this flavor of jealous Zeal before.
“So what if I like him too? What if I think he’s cooler than you?”

“You smoke, Kae?” Zeal asks, amusement dancing in his voice.
Kaelix shakes his head quickly, “I don’t really drink or smoke. I’ve tried drinking, not a big fan.” Kaelix fake blenches. “But smoking? My parents would kill me.”
At the sight of Zeal inhaling the smoke from the end of the cigarette, Kaelix is entranced by the languid yet graceful way Zeal exhales a steady stream of smoke, unbothered and relaxed.
Feeling the other’s gaze on him, Zeal turns to him, “Want a go?”
