”Of course! Did you not read the prize?” Igaram happily exclaims, pulling out a poster from his pocket. It’s a little crumpled, sure, but Nami immediately notices that there’s a little bit more to the poster than what she remembers reading. There’s the three-hundred million berries on the poster, as promised, but there was also something else. Something that should never have been cut out.
“Prize: Queen Nefertari Vivi’s hand in marriage!”
The screams from the Straw Hat crew could have probably been heard all over Alabasta. So could the punch that would have taken out a million warlords Nami had delievered to Luffy’s head.
OR: Nami signs up for an Alabastan tournament that would simply grant her three-hundred million berries upon victory, at least according to the poster Luffy handed to her. Too bad the poster was ripped, and it was apparently a tournament for Alabastan heiress Vivi’s hand in marriage, as well.
