Summary
Remus swallows and relaxes. He doesn’t know what song is playing, and he really can’t hear it over the sound of his heartbeat. He doesn’t realize he’s speaking until he hears the sound of his own voice asking, “Can you hear my heart?”
Sirius tilts his head to the side curiously, and then he leans down to press his ear against Remus’ chest. He stays like that for a few seconds before pulling back. “It’s loud. And fast.”
“Yeah,” is all Remus can say.
Sirius takes one of Remus’ hands and places it on his chest. “So is mine.” And yeah, Remus can feel it hammering in his chest. He suddenly feels dizzy with want. What does he want?

More and more often, during their fights, Phainon makes suggestive sounds that leave Mydei feeling a little flustered. Where these just unfortunate sounding grunts in the heat of battle or deliberate noises to throw Mydei off in the heat of battle? Mydei thinks he knows the answer and one one fight would solve it. Of course this battle does not go as planed.

They had classes, pranked Professor Flitwick, and James tried yet another trick to get Lily to fall in love with him. They spent break out at the lake. Remus still thinks that this was the moment it all went to hell.
