“It’s nothing,” he murmured, his voice slightly thin as he tried to ignore the way he wanted to gravitate towards Satoru like an oppositely-charged magnet and cling to him until that sunny radiance he constantly emitted could seep into his very bones, rejuvenate him and eradicate the relentless darkness that he was sure would just up and consume him one day.
That pathetic inclination to be so poetic wasn’t just another side effect of the curses, though. Suguru had to blame that one on his own stupid teenage heart for making the choices it did.
Or maybe Satoru, for causing said choices.

Summary
Toji knew something had to be wrong with him for that realization to hit so damn hard after the nth time revisiting it, but he couldn’t help it. Flickering emerald eyes briefly met honey brown, one pair filled with disbelief and gratefulness and the other with a kind of unshakable affection.
“Thank you,” Toji blurted out before he could think, not realizing that he was subconsciously weaving his arms probably too tightly around Chie’s waist.
Without complaint at the sudden change in Toji’s mood, his wife just smiled down at him, her shoulders shaking slightly with a playful chuckle.

“Hikaru” stepped forward, concern written on his face as he slowly approached Yoshiki. He soon stopped, staying far enough away that he could just barely graze the worn bark of the tree with his fingertips. Moments of silence, dull and suffocating, wrapped around the both of them until he couldn’t stand it anymore.
“Yer mom’s gonna worry. We should go back,” “Hikaru” whispered, trying to keep his voice steady as the other boy just curled in on himself further. “Yoshiki, ya can’t ignore me forever.”

yoshiki can't handle being "disgusting" anymore. "hikaru" attempts to help in his own way.

Summary
The faint clank of metal against metal sounded from behind Elder Faerie, just loud enough each time that he was soon able to recognize the sound. Footsteps, slowly getting closer. Anybody else might have been disturbed by such an occurrence, but not Elder Faerie. He knew who it was from the careful gait the footsteps took alone.
A smile tugged at the corner of his lips as the sounds became closer and eventually halted altogether. Without even opening his eyes, Elder Faerie knew how the person behind him must be standing, waiting, like a soldier without a command. Even after all their years being together, and yet he had to be so formal each time.

Summary
Megumi can no longer sleep alone. The darkness that comes with the shift from evening to night makes him nauseous, especially if he’s on his own.
His first night back on campus has quickly turned into a disaster. His room, blackened by shadows that turned the walls to ink, felt far too familiar for his taste; a pitch-black void of nothingness to surround him as he remained confined inside his own body.
Itadori found him collapsed on his bedroom floor, trembling.
“I know, I know,” he murmured as he ran a comforting hand down Megumi’s back. “He always makes it too dark.”
