He woke up half-crushed on a futon with Jayce’s head on his shoulder, muttering in his sleep. There was a blue screen flickering in front of them—Hextech, he thought, for a terrified moment, before something in his blood told him they’d fallen asleep watching something together, a movie, which he sort of understood, even if he didn’t think he could explain it.
In the cold glow of the screen, Jayce looked strangely… exposed. It was easier to look at Jayce through the beady white eyes of a god, or his soul in the cosmos, than it was to look at what Viktor had done to him now. For a moment he touched their foreheads together—selfish, selfish—just to feel Jayce’s warmth on his skin. The illusion that he had started something instead of ending it, saved someone instead of ruining him.

Summary
Zaun, 5325 inhabitants. 5326 now, with young Alpha Jayce Talis rolling into town to absolve his clerkship at the only High School and become a teacher.
Viktor is his colleague, an older Omega, but most importantly: his Destined Mate.

How could he not let his gaze wander along the edge of Silco’s hairline, the corners of his eyes, across the sharp bridge of his nose and the soft curve of his lips? How could he not let his mind wander with it and imagine what those lips might feel like against his? What they would taste like… What pretty sounds Silco might make once Vander acts on all his utmost desires.
“You know,” Silco starts, letting his hands wander up Vander’s chest. “If you want to kiss me, all you have to do is ask.”
or, Silco gets assigned to a new work unit after a stope collapse and Vander, in an effort to make him feel more welcomed, invites him along to steal from unsuspecting topsiders. Shenanigans ensue (it’s fucking. no one is surprised.)
