Summary
If Spider had been Na’vi, his songcord would’ve been started at his birth, and would’ve been carefully curated by his parents until he was old enough to work on it himself, incorporating special and important moments onto it until it spelled out the song of his life, as he wanted to tell it. But Spider wasn’t Na’vi, and he’d never gotten to have one.
Nobody ever helped him compose his song. Nobody ever sang the story of his life. And wasn’t that the saddest thing in the world?
