or, As actors, Shoto and Katsuki have a script for everything. Even their sex scenes. They follow the intimacy coordinator’s notes perfectly. If only their heartbeats and glances came with stage directions too.

“They’re trying to prevent any…” Oikawa waves his hands around, “Canoodling with other athletes.”According to his teammates, who have been in the Olympic Village for approximately one day, it’s not working, but Oikawa is not as carefree and risky as his teammates. Besides, it’s not like he would bring somebody random into his room — not when Iwaizumi is in proximity.
He gets it, though. If he were a braver man, he’d test the bed’s durability by sweet-talking Iwaizumi into railing him into it, but alas, he is a coward, at least in this particular aspect of his life.
But when Oikawa thinks about it — there may be an opportunity here. If Iwaizumi is so sure about the beds being strong enough to handle two people, then, well, who is Oikawa to ever take a challenge to his beliefs lying down?
“Fine. We’ll test it.”

The last thing he sees is a rectangle of light pouring in from the game room, outlining Chan’s face, his kiss-swollen lips, the wayward tufts of honey blonde hair made unruly by his writhing on the bed and Wonwoo’s fingers threading through. He’s beautiful in the light, be it flash, fluorescence, or fading darkness.

“You never know, I might have a plan.” Wonwoo can’t see the stranger’s face anymore, but can hear that annoying half-smile in his voice. “Just tell me if it’s a deal.”
Logically speaking, Wonwoo can try getting himself out. He has been deadly injured before, and over time, you learn that survival instincts hit in regardless of any pain or inconveniences. Logically, after a few more days of suffering, he either figures it out or dies – hard to tell which one is worse. But at that moment, Wonwoo is weak, and dehydrated, and his head makes it hard for him to think straight.
So he grabs onto the proposition like a lifeline. “Deal,” he croaks, and then slumps to the ground as the world goes black again.

“It was almost you,” He finds himself saying, eyes still closed, mind caught on a frozen image. A still frame of Eddie’s eyes on him, a line of blood running between his eyes.
He hears Eddie’s surprised inhale and turns his head lazily, blinking at him. Watching the weight of the words sink into him.
Eddie frowns, shuffling to turn towards him fully. “What?”
The corners of Buck’s mouth rise, wry and bittersweet and trembling. “You were standing next to him,” he offers, voice cracking. “It was almost you.” He pauses, turns his gaze back to the ceiling and exhales slowly. “Again.”
Eddie goes still, body tensed and frozen, and Buck closes his eyes again.

Not knowing what to do, or how to get back, he decides to play along with what he thinks he did the first time around. Luckily, he's not the only one from the future. Cas is in the same boat, and they decide to do things right this time around; stop the apocalypse before it begins.
But changing the future is tricky business, and keeping it a secret from everyone else is hard when your brother knows you too well and you're in a time where descripting your relationship with said brother as having 'trust issues' doesn't even begin to cover it.
Will Dean and Cas save the world? And if they do, what will it cost them?

Eddie’s brown eyes flashed behind his eyelids whenever he closed his own. His voice echoed in his head as he laid down to sleep. He imagined his sharp canines sinking into his throat every time he wrapped a hand around himself, biting into his knuckles until they bled to keep quiet.
He wanted. He craved. And that was his problem.
He knew Eddie better than anyone, and worse, Eddie trusted him.
Eddie trusted good ole reliable Buck, the best friend, the babysitter, the guy to call in a crisis. He didn’t know about the cavernous hole that housed a snaggled beast, hidden behind his organs, in a place Buck didn’t have a name. He didn’t know how fucked up and needy Buck was.
So, Buck did what he did. He plastered on a smile, was punctual to every movie night, joked with Eddie in between every call, and tamed the lonely monster that nipped at his heels, inching closer and closer every day to ripping open his carotid artery

“It’s too late,” Henry said gently.
Hans' mouth stayed open a beat too long before shutting, he looked away sharply.
Henry’s voice stayed low, steady. “And what do you think we’ll be if we do run? Do you honestly think they’ll just let us vanish?”
Hans went still. Something flickered in his eyes. Hurt and humiliation, quickly masked by fury.
“You’ll lose everything,” Henry went on. “And for what? A hovel on the road? A boot in your ribs from the first man who thinks you’re lying about your blood?”
Hans' jaw tightened.
“You remember Trosky,” Henry added. “How they treated you when they thought you were no one. Do you really think you’d survive that twice?”

Drinking in the sights around him, it seems that Aglaea put extra work in to make sure Phainon didn’t stick out like a sore thumb. Even he had to admit he looked good, that even if he didn’t stick out, he still managed a sense of class different from the grunge surrounding him. It made the tension in his shoulders drain out, down that whirlpool in his glass, lost to haunt him in the morning when he had the mind to regret the decisions he’ll probably make tonight.
Perhaps that is why, the next time someone mindlessly sat next to him, Phainon swirled his glass again and glanced at them in interest. They were a large man, about as tall as himself with muscles to match, that crowded close to the counter as if it would satiate their unrest. Their fingers fiddled with the short braid that hung loosely by their neck, the tip of it dyed a bloody red that was practically invisible in the here and now, but Phainon could guess that it demanded attention anywhere else. That was, of course, if the attitude this man carried with him didn’t catch it first.
Or Phainon finds a stranger that is just as tense as he is. Sometimes it’s productive to release oneself from restraints.
