Summary
Jin Ling “finds out” that Lan Jingyi has a crush on him and struggles to find a way to turn the other young master down gently. Meanwhile, Lan Jingyi has been trying to hit on Jiang Cheng, Jin Ling’s strict uncle, with no apparent luck.
Enter Lan Sizhui, who’s secretly in love with Jin Ling, trying his hardest to be happy for his best friend while nursing his wounded heart. With Jiang Wanyin starting to develop unsolicited feelings for his nephew's suitor and Wei Wuxian sticking his fingers into everyone’s affairs, things get very, very messy.
* Post-canon. Takes place a few years after Jin Ling inherits the sect. The junior quartet are now in their twenties.

Jingyi grinned even wider at the revelation that his grumpy, miserable and reluctant park date turned out to be his best friend's uncle.
His grumpy, miserable, incredibly hot uncle.
"Nice to see you again," Jingyi said. "Didn't think we'd run into each other again, especially not so soon."
The corners of Jiang Cheng's mouth twitched as if they were desperately attempting to pull down even further. "What can I say," he ground out. "I'm just unlucky."
Or the one in which Jingyi decides to install himself firmly into Jiang Cheng’s life, and after a series of not so random physical encounters, Jiang Cheng has to reluctantly admit that Jingyi might be the one thing he has been sorely missing.
