He’d done plenty of patrols as the Golden Guard, some that required undercover stakeouts. Few people ever bothered him then. He couldn’t articulate what he did, but Gus told him he had an aura of ‘don’t fuck with me’ when he was concentrating so… just… pretend that was what he was doing.
‘Don’t fuck with me,’ he thought at the flagpole, the safest place to stare at without inviting a fight. ‘I’m on an important mission, so don’t fuck with me.’
“Hey there!” a voice called.
So much for that idea.-
OR: While trapped in the human realm, Hunter runs into some less than pleasant individuals and tries to keep his cool.

Summary
It takes a few minutes for Luz to emerge, and Hunter straightens up instantly. Her hands are shoved in the pockets of Eda’s grudgeby jacket and her head is low and her shoulders are tense and shaking. Something is wrong here, and just a moment later Hunter sees what.
A sharp peal of laughter announces the small group that follows Luz out, led by a girl with orange hair pulled back in a ponytail. She’s holding something out in her hand, and the others in her group lean closer to Luz, sneers twisting their faces even as they continue to laugh.
Rage flares in Hunter’s chest. “Hey!” He barks, pushing off the railing and up the steps. His golden guard voice comes back to him instantly, and for once he welcomes the threatening rumble of it in his throat.

“Hunter!”
A pool of golden light started from below his chest, enveloping the array before anyone had time to react. The three rebels, as if roused from a trance, leapt back, but the spell had already touched them. He couldn’t see anything beyond the gold... that vanished just as quickly as it appeared a second later. Hunter was left lying on the bare cobblestone, alone, with a stained breastplate and a quickly developing headache.The CATTs want to invade the Emperor's mind. Hunter wants to bust them and earn his Uncle's approval. Luz wants to interview Hunter to get proof Belos is evil. Things don't quite go according to plan for any of them, and now Luz and three rebels are stuck in the wrong mindscape. But determined to make the best of the situation, they decide to look through the Golden Guard's memories for information on the Day of Unity. They find more than they bargained for.
