"Yuma? You there?"
Yuma snaps out of it. Poor Jo—he'd left him hanging. "Yeah, sorry. He texted me."
"Nicholas?"
"Harua."
"Oh." Jo sounds a little confused. "What did he have to say?"
"He's giving me tips on how to seduce his brother," Yuma replies. With new energy, he springs from the mattress and throws his closet doors open, squeezing past his parents’ storage boxes to rummage through the hangers. "I guess I have to sneak a crop top into my outfits this week somehow."
A pause. The scratching of pencil against paper on the other end. "This deal seems odd," is all Jo says, before falling silent again.
(or: yuma, a burnt out college sophomore on summer break, and harua, a wannabe rebel stuck in gap year hell, make a deal with nicholas as the collateral. other things end up on the line, too.)

“I was thinking- and don’t you dare make that stupid joke again!” Yuma warned. Taki raised his arms in surrender, mouth still full, but he did look up this time, curious. Yuma sighed, needing a moment to collect himself before he continued. “I have been thinking, actually, and… well. I- I want to have a baby.”
For a moment, Taki just stared. Yuma struggled not the squirm under his unreadable gaze, almost slumping in relief when he shrugged, turning back to his pancakes. “If you’re sure. You are sure, aren’t you?”
Yuma nodded. “I’m sure. I want a baby,” he repeated, eyes a little tentative as they looked at Taki, who barely glanced at him as he hummed in understanding, reaching for his glass. Yuma exhaled. Here goes. “You… can give me a baby.”
Taki choked on his orange juice.

“Sure, I’ll be your date for the wedding.”
Sunghoon is pretty sure he’s dreaming.
The man’s face is everywhere. On his walls, on his desk, cluttered in the free spaces of his bookshelf and—more importantly—right in front of him. His intense gaze is fixated on Sunghoon’s, most likely so he can pretend he doesn’t see the seemingly limitless bounds of his obsession, and Sunghoon can’t bring himself to hold eye contact with him.
Sure, he’s dreamt of moments like this. Just one chance to personally talk to the man standing in front of him and tell him just how much he admires him for his art, his passion, his relentless drive to strive for his dream.
But not like this.
“Isn’t that every stan’s dream?” he continues, teasing him, baby talking him, “To say just once that their idol is their boyfriend?”
