Summary
"You know," Jinx starts, one eye closed in concentration so she can focus on his makeup, "people are shipping us."
"Seriously?" Ekko replies, trying very hard to stay perfectly still so she doesn't get annoyed if his makeup gets messed up.
"Yeah, they even have a ship name for us. Timebomb."
He would roll his eyes if that movement didn't require too many facial muscles. "Now I know you're just fucking with me."
Their relationship is supposed to be a secret, but at this point, Ekko just wants to hold his girlfriend's hand when they walk outside.

Summary
Powder hated her school uniforms.
Well, objectively, there was actually nothing wrong with them—maybe the colours, if you asked her. Otherwise it was pretty simplistic. A white, short-sleeve button-up undershirt, a dark black or blue blazer, which, to be honest, most people never wore, and a navy skirt that had black shorts underneath.
And if you were a guy it was the same thing—only no skirt, just dark, navy pants. Trousers.
They were soft too, not itchy, and comfy enough that you could drop to your knees, curl up and fall asleep in an alley at lunchtime far from the school. Don’t ask how she knows that.

Summary
Jinx had always loved the way the dark made the city feel like a secret you'd been let into. The room around them was a soft pool of shadow, only the faintest spill of streetlight slanting through the curtains painted pale lines across the duvet. She lay on her back, one arm flung over her eyes, breath slow and even. Beside her, Ekko was a warm weight, one knee hooked over her hip, fingers tracing idle patterns on her forearm.
