Summary
Final fic of the Divided We Fall series.
Cayuga's destruction takes Enterprise and Discovery to Parnassus, then the front lines of war against the Gorn. Things go from bad to worse when Lorca returns with the Terran fleet. It'll take the combined efforts of Starfleet's flagship and maverick ship to stop the Terrans from conquering the Prime Universe.
“Attention inhabitants of this quadrant. I'm Emperor Gabriel Lorca of the Imperial Terran Empire. Your territories, resources, and lives are now under our dominion. Your survival depends on your unequivocal surrender and compliance. Dissent will not be tolerated. What follows is a minor demonstration of Terran superiority. Welcome to the Empire."
Image boxes appeared on the viewscreen: Andoria's Laiken, Vulcan's Vulcana Regar, Tellar Prime, Rixx on Betazed, somewhere on Cardassia Prime, Nausicaa's capital city...Every image was a scene of destruction.
A new image replaced the others: dust and debris – all that remained of an iconic, enduring symbol of Starfleet.
Uhura exclaimed, "The Academy – the Terrans destroyed the main campus of Starfleet Academy."

Summary
Fourth in the Divided We Fall series.
Christine and Spock's wedding plans are postponed when Discovery is sent to investigate a location where the Klingons may be holding POWs. Michael and Christine disappear, sent by a weapon prototype back to the Vietnam War; Kirk, Spock, and Tyler are exposed to the same prototype and end up in an ICE detainment camp. Enterprise is sent to assist with recovering them. By the time wedding plans resume, Spock has become a father, Michael has become a nihilist, and Christine has gone insane.
"We want to see the best in our fellow officers. When they make poor decisions, we tell ourselves they did it for the right reasons, everyone makes mistakes, it'll never happen again. We create narratives to excuse the actions of those we like. The problem is, our narratives aren't true. Not everyone is trying to live up to Starfleet principles. Sometimes a monster is just a monster, regardless of their uniform."
