“And I feel…I dunno. Lighter,” Kal says, introspective as he drags a fry repeatedly through the drips of ketchup on his plate. “Everything feels easier when there’s something to live for. I like my life. That’s not something I thought I’d ever experience again.”
Bruce has finished his food. Kal looks down at his half-finished burger and picks it up, pushing the plate of fries toward the center of the table where they can both reach them.
“Things aren’t so bad when you’ve got people who love you,” Bruce says, agreeing. “Doesn’t mean things aren’t hard, though. Some things just suck.”

AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! I absolutely LOVED Robb’s character in this, especially his severity and the glimpses into his responsibilities as a lord (Raising his siblings? Running Winterfell? Dealing with criminals and transgressions before the Old Gods? Absolutely PERFECT). And JAIME. Geez, I adored his growing obsession and eventual devotion to Robb. Watching the son of the man who is hated by your house practically raise your bastard son, and then falling in love with that young man despite yourself? Absolute perfection, is what I say. The ending got me right in the heart too - especially when Jaime finally abandoned his pride for something he loved and begged with everything he had. IM CRYING AND SMILING LIKE A CRAZY PERSON.
