Summary
Remus Lupin has had a crush on Sirius Black since he was fourteen, from the moment he saw Sirius on the news standing next to his mom as she was sworn in as the mayor of NYC. Things are a bit more complicated now - they are best friends, but Sirius is closeted and a hot mess, and Walburga is running for President. After his first semester of grad school, Remus returns home and joins Sirius' security personnel as a glorified babysitter for the remainder of Walburga's campaign. Remus finds himself spending all hours of the day with Sirius, attending the same meetings, living under the same roof, and sleeping in the same bed. It's the closest they've been since boarding school, and this new proximity messes with his head. Will he be able to keep his long-harbored feelings under wraps?

To Remus’ dire misfortune, they can’t seem to get out of each other’s paths for the next two bloody years! He can’t seem to chase the dog off his tail.

We’re all fucked in the head, and a bit brash, but we wouldn’t be us if we weren’t. We wouldn’t be doing the universe justice if we didn’t live the way she meant for us to.”
