Robby remembered little from his PT rotation. He knew when to refer someone to PT—strained backs or necks, for instance—but he could never guide someone through that sort of stuff. Which is why when Whitaker approaches him on a slow Thursday afternoon, he is confused to say the least.
“You want me to do…what exactly?”
Whitaker taps his fingers against the counter of the hub. “I’ve been in physical therapy for a few months,” he reiterates. “They’ve given me a bunch of stretches to do. I've been doing them, but I don't know if it's working. I mean, I don't know if I'm doing them right.”
Whitaker asks Robby for help with his physical therapy stretches, and Robby struggles to have normal feelings about his subordinate.
