An error in booking leaves Sunday without a hotel room while the others are already paired off. It’s no problem because there’s another one down the street he can take at a discount, if he doesn’t mind the walk. But it’s okay, he’s used to being the odd man out. He’s the new guy after all, and he still has to earn his place.
A conclusion he comes to seconds before he’s proven how much that is not the case.
Or
Sunday’s sudden streak of bad luck flings him right into the arms of the man he can’t take his eyes off of. And it seems he wasn’t mistaken to think that Welt was looking too.
