Summary
The girl stood still. There was a gentle tap-tap echoing in the air as she observed the room. Her fingers were wet, and her toes squished unconsciously into the puddle beneath her, an age-old habit from a childhood spent playing in the water. It was wildly inappropriate in the current situation, her mind helpfully pointed out.
Tap tap tap.
The noise mocked her. She inhaled a breath, disrupting the sound, and turned her eyes away from the tableau before her. Her fingers clenched into fists. Unhelpful, she couldn’t help but notice. The skinny little hands that sat at the end of her equally short arms were virtually useless. Tiny fingers unable to clench anything, palms to small to hold anything. Useless.
Tap tap tap.
The girl inhaled again, flexing bloody fingers into the cold air. She eyed the floor once more, or more accurately, the bloody mess that covered the floor. Her toes squished again.
OR: A girl is promptly horrified to learn that she has been reborn into Hannibal universe and is fairly certain of her impending death. She really shouldn't have gotten attached to the man that is now apparently her father.

Summary
"In many ways, Snotlout is very much Spitelout's son," said Freda.
Torben did not need his sight to hear that she wanted to say more. "One can hardly help but notice," he agreed.
"But," she added hesitantly. "In more subtle and quiet ways, he is much more my son."
"Freda," he said, turning his face to her voice. "Blind as I am, I could see that. Why else do you think I would encourage his visits here."
---
He was loud, reckless, and far too confident for it to be entirely real — but when the meadow of boars had erupted into danger and chaos, he'd stayed.
She was older, taller, and had an unnerving habit of seeing straight through him — but when he injured his leg, she'd stitched him up anyway. An unlikely friendship took root in the wake of boars and tailor’s thread. But when Snotlout leaves for the Edge, distance will prove that a person is shown by what and who they choose to stand beside, not how loudly they stand. The cost? More than bravado and Jorgenson pride combined.
Just see if I don't make a Snotlout fan out of you by the end.
