Suguru blinked.
“What?”
“I said you can’t just be nice to me and hope to get away with whatever it is you said.”
Satoru flicked the last strand of the bandage over his thumb and looked up.
“What are we talking about, again?” Suguru said.
Satoru slowly smiled. No, it was, actually, a grin, shit-eating the best way to describe it, soft but radiant. Open like this, with his hair a mess, his eyes still adjusting to the dim light, he looked every bit the boy Suguru came to know and fall fast and hard for many years ago. It was exhilarating. It caught Suguru off-guard. Gravity distorted; the pull of it forced his every sense to focus on a singular center. In the moment, to watch, listen, and be with only Satoru was easier than anything the outside and the mundane could offer.
“How you don’t believe me, ever,” Satoru finally said, teasing.
or
Satoru simply comes back home from a long day in the summer, and Suguru is simply there, because they live a life of teaching, fighting curses, and loving each other. Everything is good.

Summary
Zoro had not been expecting much when he and his family decided to move from the mainland to a small island. Another expected event was Perona making them stop at an abandoned town on the way there and Mihawk going along with the idea. Now Zoro is separated from his family and lost in an unknown world. A chance meeting with a strange boy throws Zoro headfirst into chaos and he finds himself stuck in a bathhouse at the whims of the spirits in charge.
