She splashed her face gently with the cold water, trying to wake herself up.
“C’mon Aph…” She sighed, looking at herself in the mirror. This wasn’t that big of a deal. Right? As soon as she let her head hang down, closing her eyes to think, she heard the creaking of a floorboard.
Her instincts kicking in, her head immediately shot up and jerked to the right as she glanced at a tall figure in the doorway.
“Oh, Irene!” Without thinking logically, she yelped and almost slipped back on the bathroom rug before regaining her balance almost comedically. Once she looked back up from her feet to make sure she was stable, her eyes darted up to see a terrified Garroth, clearly frozen in action if he had needed to jump in and help Aphmau from her fall. However, he might not have been able to help even if he wanted to, considering his arms were full of a plethora of various hair products. It was about 5:30 in the morning, so Aphmau couldn’t help but stifle a laugh when she saw Garroth almost all ready for the con, already in his Link cosplay for the day.
“…Garroth?”(aka Aphmau woke up way too early at the con and Garroth woke up even earlier! He confesses a few vague things on his mind :) Aph kinda knew)
