Lan Wangji woke up in the Jingshi. This in itself, of course, did not raise any alarm bells in his head. That was, until he remembered that he had not fallen asleep in the Jingshi. That he was not even supposed to be in Gusu.
The second thing he noticed was that he was warm. Warmer than usual, with a weight at his side, an arm slung over his chest and soft breaths tickling his neck.
