From the shadows of the ramp under the control room comes a tall, straight figure. Her hair is blood red against the white of her gown, the blue of her skin. Stopping in the centre of the gate room, she leans her head to the side, thoughtful.
“Greetings,” she says, and even through the MALP’s tinny speaker she has the voice of a chorus, thousands whispering. “Lanteans.” She shows her teeth in what might be a smile. “But we are the Lanteans, now.”
Elizabeth finds herself smiling too and that’s all wrong but she can’t stop it. She nods, once and says, even though the mic is off and the Wraith can’t hear her, “I think we’ll call you Jane.”

What A Sentinel Has To Do by Arnie (Dimity-blue) -
John's the Sentinel in this one, and he's really quite manipulative after deciding Rodney's his Guide during the Chair incident in Antarctica. He gets himself onto the expedition and claims Rodney soon after arrival. While Rodney doesn't have any real say in that, the implication is that it's what he wants as well. However, be warned, as it may be triggering for anyone who dislikes soulbonding-type dubcon. Set in canon-verse, other than the AU sentinel aspects. -

A classic story from the days of Area 52 and Wraithbait. Some of Dasha's Sentinel verse is on AO3, but not this one. It's technically a WIP with 3 chapters, but it ends at a reasonably satisfying place. It's an AU as Rodney's a gifted structural engineer, and John's an ex-pilot turned guide. Earth-based, and no stargates.
