“Despite how much it hurt,” Felix says, the tip of his nose brushing against Hyunjin’s, “I knew you and I were endgame.”
“You did?”
“Yeah, ‘cause the sign on your heart said it’s still reserved for me.” Felix leans in to place the softest of kisses on the corner of Hyunjin’s mouth, which makes him tighten his grip on Felix’s waist, “And really, Hyunnie, who are we to fight the alchemy?”
“So we’re using chemistry to explain ourselves now?” Hyunjin laughs against Felix’s throat, nipping at his racing pulse.
“Amongst other things, yes.” Felix says, running his fingers through dark, smooth strands, “But I don’t think we’ll ever come up with an explanation that does justice to what we have.”
“No, I don’t think so either.” Hyunjin hums against Felix’s shoulder, hands idly toying with the hem of Felix’s t-shirt.
